I had a roller coaster day yesterday, but it was mostly okay.
Would anybody like to donate to the "Cheryl Kendall Parking Citation" Fund?
I parked too close to an alley (I thought it was a driveway, and I didn't know there was law about that anyway). Apparently, you must be 15 ft away from an alley, I was 3 ft. I discovered this ticket after my morning work of 2 1/2 hrs - that money earned won't even cover the price of the ticket! I would have been better off staying home for the morning, like I am today!
So, I've started my other job at EDS. Well, kinda. I'm going through training. 2 weeks per account that I'll be answering phones for (that makes 4 weeks). It's from 12:30-4:30 every weekday. There are only 5 people in my class - 4 boys and me! The trainer is a woman, so that makes me feel less left out. These boys are all pursuing computer or business type degrees, that just puts me to sleep. Training hasn't been too bad, and my class is really nice.
Speaking of pursuing degrees, on my way home from EDS I got an unknown phone call. Well, I mean I missed the call because my Ghostbusters ringtone blended into the Chicago soundtrack I was listening to. ANYWAY, I called them back, it was the college of Education at MSU. So, here it is: They've accepted me into their program and are reserving a spot for me!!! They can't finish the paperwork until after I pass the Basic Skills Test in July, but after that, I'm home free! WOO HOO! I'M IN! Yeah, the Basic Skills Test is comparable to the MEAP or any other test that makes sure you can read and add fractions. That made me so happy yesterday! Maybe if I have time this morning, which I think I do, I'll register for classes! YEA! I'm so happy! Watch out parents-to-be, I may be teaching your children! WuahaHaHaHahaha!!!
